Clyde C. Horton, 86, a 53 year resident of Washington, passed away on Friday, March 24 at Parkside Care Center following an extended illness.

He was born on Dec. 5, 1913 to Alton and Crystal (King) Horton at Ash Flat, AK. He loved sports and played basketball in high school. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was married to Linnie Denton, of Ash Flat, on Dec. 22, 1935. He served 41⁄2 years in W.W. II.

In 1946, they moved to the Wenatchee Valley. He attended King's Orchard Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linnie, of East Wenatchee; four brothers, Denny, of Monitor, Glen, Bill and Jim, all of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy and Sonny, and four sisters, Marie Shales, Sue Park, Bonnie Nelson and Joyce Mooney.

Funeral services will be held at Telford's Chapel of the Valley, Tuesday morning, March 28, at 10:30 with Mr. Dale Linge officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
