SADIE ALLGOOD
Services for Sadie Wells Allgood, 83, of Taylor will be held at 4 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with burial to be in the Jenkins Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Allgood and the Rev. Harold Cook will officiate.
She died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in a Granger nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 18, 1904 in Brown County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylor. She married Noble Allgood. He died in 1970.
Survivors include two sons, W. D. Allgood of Lubbock and Roy Allgood of Taylor; two sisters, Lola Flowers and Vida Robinson of Brownwood; two brothers, Elmer Wells of Brownwood and Delbert Wells of Midland; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
