Born in Manhattan, N.Y. and raised in the Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Annunziata moved to Levittown in the summer of 1971. He was employed with the City of New York Water Corrections Department for 26 years until retiring in 1982 where he had served as a former shop steward. He then went to work for the Falls Township Water and Sewer Department for ten years until 1992 and served as a representative for their union. Mr. Annunziata was a member of Immaculate Conception parish where he had been active with the CYO and he was also a member of St. Ann's Golf Association. He was the former President of Levittown International Little League and was a staff member of District 21. Mr. Annunziata was a life long active supporter of the Democratic Party. While living in New York he was active with Holy Cross Parish CYO and volunteered at Phoenix House helping those suffering from drug and alcohol abuse. Carmine was a longtime dedicated employee of the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home and is sorely missed by his friends and family there.
Mr. Annunziata was the devoted and loving husband of the late Joan A. Annunziata (nee Twining).
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
