Mrs. Polly Gentry, one of the oldest and most beloved women of the ninth district of this county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. V. Hawkins, recently, aged 95 years.
She was the widow of Riley Gentry, who died some thirty years ago, and was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by six children, Will and Josh Gentry, Mrs. Parilla Allen, Mrs. Hawkins, Mrs. Pearl Loftis and Mrs. Jane Allen.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Logan Flatt, a life-long friend of the family.
