Services for Clara Frances Ballew, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Ballew, 85, died Sept. 26, 2007, at Beverly Health Care Center. She was born on Dec. 10, 1921, to James Luther Ballew and Catherine R. Fore Ballew.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers, Lawrence, Earl, Willey, Shelby and Sanford Ballew; four sisters, Sleeta Giorano, Mary Robbins Lewis, Catherine Robbins and Mattie Foster.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
