Lula Becton Barrentine, 84, passed away January 11, 2002. She was a Georgia native and resided in Albany for many years. She was a resident of Middleburg, FL for the past fifteen years and was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 14, 2002, with Rev. Donald Tate officiating. Interment will be in Long Branch Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Jeanette Johnson and is survived by two sisters, Ruby Smith of Jacksonville, FL and Myrtle Carter of Valdosta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:30 pm Sunday (TODAY) at Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Memorial donations may be made to Long Branch Baptist Church.
