Daughter of the late Charlie L. Woolard and Lydia C. Woolard, she was a 1959 graduate of Bath High School. On June 30, 1960, she married Phil Black. She was an accountant for Piston Ring and Machine. She was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ. She was survived her husband; two daughters; five grandchildren and an extended family. Her funeral was held May 16, 2008 with Steve Hill and Mark Lilley officiating.
