Dee met her husband, Lynn Harris, in church. He said "little girl, you're coming along with me." They were married for 66 years until his death in 1999. During World War II, Dee became secretary to the president of Tarrant Savings Association. By the time of her retirement, she was a vice president of Tarrant Savings.
Dee was a fantastic bridge player and she and Lynn danced two nights a week into their mid-80s.
Dee was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, Ridglea Country Club, Fort Worth Lady Elks Club and the Women's Club of Fort Worth.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Harris; and grandson, Conrad Lynn Harris.
Survivors: Son, Hugh K. Harris and his wife, Holly; grandchildren, Dylan and Olivia Harris; and former daughter-in-law, Mary Harris.
