Funeral services for Jack Arlen Keever, 76 of West Monroe were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe, The Rev. Carl Shurte officiated. Interment followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery-West Monroe, La.

Mr. Keever was born October 15, 1931 in Ouachita Parish, La. and passed away in West Monroe, La. on May 5, 2008. He was a retired Sergeant with the United States Air Force as a Flight Line Mechanic after twenty two years of service. Past employed by Jaybar Construction after twenty years as a heavy equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years; Evangeline Murphy Keever, daughter; Debbie Rothschild and husband Louis, son; Tommy Keever, sister; Betty Young and husband James, brothers; Allen Kirby and wife Donna, Harry Keever, grand daughter; Lisa Mosely.

Pallbearers will be Marlin Jones, Wayne Jones, Randy Putnam, Davd Putnam, John Putnam, William Putnam.
