CHEW ROBERT Unexpectedly passed away at his home in Alameda on Oct. 10, 2002, at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of 50 years to Beverly Chew. Loving father of Rodney P. Chew and wife Jolynn and Linda Kwong and husband James. Dearest son of Katie Chew. Devoted grandfather of Robert B. Chew, Rodney J. Chew, Avery Kwong, Kelley Kwong & Natalie Kwong. Dear brother of Alice Gee of Piedmont, Sarah Dailley of Orinda and Mary Ella Chang of Honolulu, HI. Brother-in-law of John Dailley, Paula Wong and husband Allen of Napa, and Burton Yin and wife Jane of Castro Valley. Mr. Chew was a member of the Knights of Malta, an avid tennis player and enjoyed traveling. A service of remembrance will be celebrated by the family on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 4-5:30 p.m. at Albert Brown Mortuary, 3476 Piedmont Ave., Oakland.
