Funeral services for Lisa Michelle Ard, 24, were Aug. 12, 1998, at Lexie Baptist Church with Dr. Earl Surber and Rev. Randall Griffin officiating. She died Aug. 10, 1998, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Ard was a housewife and a member of Lexie Baptist Church. She was born Jan. 31, 1974, at Hinds County, daughter of Darvis Mitchell Boyd and Louise Holmes Boyd, who survive. She married Greg Ard, who also survives her. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a brother, Dennis Boyd of Tylertown; a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Daniel Urbanic of Hattiesburg; grandparents Carey and Bettie Holmes of Tylertown, and Don and Bobbie Boyd of Laurel.
Pallbearers were Brent Ard, Keith Ard, Jamie Holmes, Kyle Johnson, Mac Conerly and Mark Conerly. Burial was in Enon Cemetery with Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
