Mildred Pearl Cole Beaman, 85, of Robert Drive died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 1995, at Hill Haven Convalescent Center. She had been in failing health for two years.

She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church at Shelbyville, a homemaker and former head cook at Morristown High School cafeteria, retiring in 1974.

Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mrs. Beaman was born July 31, 1909, in Shelby County, the daughter of Lee and Rosetta Ramsey Benefiel. She married Hiram B. Cole March 15, 1929. He preceded her in death May 13, 1962. She married Lawrence Beaman Jan. 1, 1979. He preceded her in death June 20, 1982.

She is survived by daughters, Betty Ann Larrabee of New Braunfels, Texas, and Millie Boring of Northville, Mich.; sons, Ned H. Cole of Columbus and Rick D. Cole of Greenfield; a sister, Irene Schmaltz of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
