A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in Zeller Chapel of the Roses for Idella K. Alexander, who died Dec. 27 at age 90.
Mrs. Alexander was born Nov. 9, 1908, in Cando, N.D. Her maiden name was Kane. She had lived in Portland since 1944. She worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell for 27 years until retiring in 1974 and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Her husband, Ralph, died in 1989.
Survivors include her sister of Covina, Calif.; and brother of San Francisco.
Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery.
