Murray Nafziger, passed away suddenly, on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Stratford General Hospital. Murray resided in Brunner and was born there 73 years ago. Son of the late Menno and Mattie (Jantzi) Nafziger. Beloved husband of Norma (Brenneman) Nafziger whom he married September 8, 1956. Loving father of Neil Nafziger at home, Earl and wife Jan Nafziger of Milverton, Bernice and husband Paul Albrecht of RR 2 Wellesley, Paul Nafziger and friend Cheryl Mogk, Walter and wife Tracey Nafziger, all of Stratford and Wanda and husband Andrew Ropp of RR 1 Brunner. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Nicole, Stephanie, Michael, Mallory and John, Melissa, Michelle, Jessica, Sarah, Jamie, Ryan, Holly, Darryn, Janelle, Bradley and Alayna. Dear brother of Maynard and wife Laura Nafziger, Maurice and wife Edna Nafziger all of Milverton, Madeline Kuepfer of Listowel, Marion and husband Nick Callwood of Stratford and brother-in-law of Vernon and wife Norma Brenneman of RR 1 Millbank. Murray was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Norman Kuepfer, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Ezra and Emma Brenneman. Murray was a member of Mapleview Mennonite Church, RR 2 Wellesley. He sold cars for over 30 years in the Milverton area. Murray enjoyed checkers and won a Canadian Championship in 1955. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer St., Milverton on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and again Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Mapleview Mennonite Church, RR 2 Wellesley where Pastor Bruce Sawatsky will officiate. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
