Funeral services for Linda ‘Carol' Bryan Bruce were at the First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville on Saturday, January 7, 2012. The Reverends Mark Christian, Gary O'Neal and John C. Burns officiated. Burial followed at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Carol was born on September 8, 1943, in Bryceland, LA to John Lee and Lessie Faye Bryan. Carol, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife, passed from this life on January 3, 2012.

She was a resident of Leesville for the majority of her life. She was a faithful member of the 1st United Pentecostal Church of Leesville and was a homemaker. Carol was known as a second mother to many people throughout her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, one daughter-in-law, four wonderful grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, one brother of Shreveport, LA and one sister of Ragley, LA, and a wealth of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lessie Bryan, two siblings: Faye Feazell and Laurie Bryan, husband, Therrell Bruce and son, Norman Bruce.

Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
