Mrs. Jane Brockman Dies Leaving 81 Survivors
Mrs. Jane Brockman, aged 87 years, a native of Austin County, died last Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. H. Meyer, in Houston, where she had made her home for the last 20 years. Services were held at the Frank Cemetery near here on Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Ben F. Lehmberg, pastor of the Riverside Memorial Methodist Church of Houston officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased.
Three sons survive, namely; Arthur, Walter and Edwin Brockman, all of Houston, also three daughters, Mrs. Adele Mewis of Bellville, Mrs. Hulda Albrecht and Mrs. Erma Meyer, also of Houston, together with 27 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
