Kathryn Elizabeth born May 31, 1919 to Joseph & Josephine Kloiber in Oklahoma City was called peacefully home to her Lord October 23, 1992. Kathryn was a life-long resident of Oklahoma City and was a member of Sacred Heart, Corpus Christi and Christ the King parishes during her lifetime. She graduated from St. Josephs High School in May, 1937. She worked for General Mills a short time before marrying William M. Eckroat Jr. April 22, 1939 and becoming a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband William Jr., her oldest son William III and a sister Mary Jane Nashert. She is survived by many friends and relatives including her brother and sister-in-law Jack & Betty Kloiber of OKC; sons and daughters-in-law Jack & Chris Eckroat of OKC, Tom & Janice Eckroat of Hennessey, OK and son Tony Eckroat of OKC. Daughters and sons-in-law Anita and J.W. Cooper of OKC and Sussan and Don Crespino of Yellville, Ark. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Gayle Pritchett and husband Cletus of Prague, OK; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Evening prayer service will be held Sunday, October 25 at 5:00 PM at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Mass and burial will be held at Christ the King Church Monday, Oct. 26 at 10:00 AM. We love you mom and we will always admire you for your strength, courage and loving generosity. You will be greatly missed.
