EDEN - Josephine Gayle Murphy Belton, 76, of 473 Hwy. 700 W., died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, in Woodlawn Cemetery .
She was a native of Rockingham County and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Belton of the home; son, Ralph Everette Belton of Eden; daughter, Linda B. Hopper of Eden; brothers, Melvin Murphy of Woodruff, SC and Jack Murphy of Eden; sisters, Gaynelle Furr and Naomi Swartz both of Ruffin; and four grandchildren.
