Madge Templin Lewis age 78 of Powell, died Friday, September 26, 2003 at Baptist Hospital. She was born on January 19, 1925 in Benham, Ky., to Roy and Bessie Smith Templin. She resided at Windsor Gardens Assisted Living and was a member of Fair Havens Baptist Church Powell. She had worked at A.E.C. in Oak Ridge, the Oak Ridger and Hills Department Stores. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Lewis; parents; sisters, Elaine Shelton and Muriel Benton; brother, Charles T. Templin. Survivors include: son and daughter in law, Keith and Gail Lewis of Harrison, Tenn.; daughter and son in law, Paula and Lawrence Cadden of Goochland, Va.; son, Scott Lewis of Powell; brothers and sisters in law, Melvin Templin of Norfolk, Va., Herbert and Dorothy Templin of Maryville and Travis and Samme Templin of Athens, Tn.; sisters and brothers in law, Mildred and James McCloud of Halls, Fay Ziglar of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Shirley White of Fayetteville, NC. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wayne Roach and Rev. R. C. Harless officiating. Interment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery. The family suggest in lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Lung Association or Fair Havens Baptist Church of Powell. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home.
