SCIO--Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth Bilyeu, 82, died Tuesday at a Stayton hospital. She was born in Bradish, Nebraska, and lived in Scio 65 years. She was a member of Pythian Sisters and Rebekahs.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Scio Christian Church, Rev. Edwin Martin officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Butte Cemetery at Scio. Weddle Funeral Home, Stayton, is in charge.
She leaves a widower, Otto; sons, Orval of Mehama, Vilas and Carlos of California, Rex of Scio; daughters, Mrs. Nedra Baldwin of Idaho, Mrs. Zenna Eaton of California, Mrs Maxine Slover of Scio; brother Charles Balschweid of Scio; sisters Mrs. Neva Merrill of California and Mrs. O'Reta Coopie of Corvallis; 27 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
