CHERRYVILLE - Mrs. Lottie Huffstetler Hester 76, of 907 E. Church St. died Nov. 10, 1992, at Cleveland Memorial Hospital in Shelby. Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday at Cherryville Church of God, with the Rev. Kenneth Whisnant
officiating. Burial is in City Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Carpenter's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hester, a retired winder at Rhyne-Houser Mills, was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late John and Dossie Ramsey Huffstetler. She was the widow of Abraham Hester.

Survivors are her son, Edgar Hester; daughters, Ms. Pamela Hester of Shelby, Ms. Elizabeth Hester; sister, Mrs. Grace Robinson of Chicago; four grandchildren; stepbrother, Johnny Canipe; stepsisters, Mrs. Ruby Wilder of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Ann Brown of Lincolnton, Mrs. Ruth Van Dyke.
