Cynthia Lynn Baer Allyn, age 35, suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1966, in Pittsburgh, daughter of James E. Baer of Wexford and Lynn H. Hunsinger of Wexford.
Mrs. Allyn was a graduate of North Allegheny High School. She attended the Community College of Allegheny County and Point Park College, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She received her master's in human resources from LaRoche College, Allison Park. She worked at Allegheny General Hospital in human resources and the radiology department for 10 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Sewickley.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John S. Allyn; two daughters, Brittany L. Allyn and Brooke M. Allyn, both at home; a brother, Timothy A. Baer of Butler; a sister, Tammy A. Baer of Petrolia, Butler County; two half-brothers, Guy Wiles Jr. and Donald Wiles, both of Pittsburgh; her grandfather, Wayne G. Baer of Eastis, Fla.; her father- and mother-in-law, Henry G. Jr. and Elizabeth Burrows Allyn of Sewickley. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ruth Katherine Baer, and John C. and Ruth C. Hunsinger.
Visitation Friday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the H.P.
