Carl Kallam, 75, died Wednesday at N.C. Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at King's Highway Christian Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery .
A native of Spray, he was a retired distributor for Kallam's Food Market and Tom's Food, an Army and Navy Veteran of World War II and a former elder and deacon at his church. He was former police commissioner for the City of Leaksville, a former justice of the peace and a Mason.
Surviving are wife, Evangeline Hall Kallam and others.
