They began their married life together in Jackson, MS and relocated to Center Ridge, MS in 1968 to raise their family. She passed from this life on Thursday, Nov 26 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Together, they have 3 children: Carl William (Bill) Arnold, Jr (wife: Robin) of Pensacola, FL; Lynda Joyce Gambrell (husband: Charlie)of Taylorsville, MS; Deborah Ann Herndon (husband: Mike) of Mize, MS. Grandchildren: William Taylor Arnold, Kyle Keady, Corey Lyle Gambrell, Brittney Evelyn Gunnels, Sommer Danielle Herndon, Jonathan Isaac Herndon.
Evelyn was employed at Taylorsville High School at the time of her death. She was an active member at Taylorsville First Baptist Church and a member of the choir. Her hobbies include: fishing and gardening. She enjoyed attending sports events, band events, church events to watch her children perform.
