Inez Hancock Adams, 87, of Louisville, formerly of Sulphur, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Baptist Hospital East, Louisville. She was a native of Trimble County, the daughter of the late Claude and Frances Toombs Hancock, She is survived by two daughters: Marion (Hubert) Louden, Sr., Louisville and Dorothy (Ray) Highfill, Campbellsburg; two sons: John W. Adams, Sulphur and James R. Adams, Louisville; two step-daughters: Margie Hale and Betty Dollar, both of Columbus, GA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Adams and one son, William Adams, Jr. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, New Castle. Rev. Nick Coleman, Sulphur, officiated. Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.Henry County Local May 8, 2002
