-Mrs. Polly Gibson, age 85,wife of William P. Alexander, died at their home on Albany street last Thursday morning.
-Deceased was a member of the Christian church, having joined at Beavers Creek about 40 years ago. She was a good woman and well liked by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Messrs. Ayers and Dyance and one daughter, Miss Hallie.
-The funeral services were conductedby the Rev. R. C. Kimble.
-Her remains were interred at the Alexander Cemetery.
