Eileen L. Harrison Holdren passed away at the Heritage Rehabilitation Center at the age of 86. She was born to Raymond G. and Pearl Bishop Harrison and was reared and schooled in Lincoln, NB. On Dec 20, 1936 she married Leonard W. "Dutch" Holdren in Lincoln. They moved to Winnemucca, NV in January 1941 and then to Elko in 1948. She had lived here ever since. She had worked for the telephone company in Winnemucca and the Humboldt County Clerk's office. In Elko she had worked for California Pacific Utilities Telephone Company and retired from Alltel telephone in October 1985. Eileen enjoyed watching fast pitch softball games, football and being with her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her sons, Len (Rita) Holdren and Jim Holdren of Elko, NV; four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept 3, 1981, her parents and a daughter.
