Anna C. Fedoush

Anna C. Fedoush, 83, formerly of Acmetonia, died Thursday, July 6, 2006, in Castle Shannon at the home of her granddaughter, with whom she lived since November 2005.
She was born April 12, 1923, in Curtisville, daughter of the late George and Anna (Prodan) Rebrey. She lived most of her life in Acmetonia and worked as a bag inspector at U.S. Gypsum, Oakmont, for 26 years.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1941.
She played piano and enjoyed singing, crocheting and cooking.
She is survived by a son, Joseph C. (Elaine) Fedoush Jr., of Hubbard, Ohio; a granddaughter, Melinda "Mindy" (Edward) Bateman, of Castle Shannon; a grandson, Joseph C. Fedoush III, of Sharpsburg; and great-grandchildren, Steven and Kathryn Bateman, of Castle Shannon, and Andrew and Nathan Fedoush, of Sharpsburg.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Fedoush Sr. in 1977; a brother, George Rebrey; and a sister, Helen Christensen.
Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. A Panachida will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Tarentum with her pastor, the Rev. Wesley M. Mash, officiating.
Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Homestead. Parastas will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
