Linda Rupp, 95, Ness City, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City. She was born Oct. 12, 1912, in Ellis County to Clements and Mary Lang Depperschmidt.

She married Clarence Rupp on Oct. 27, 1931, in Ness City. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1990.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Altar Society, both of Ness City.

Survivors include a daughter, Jolene M. O'Connell and husband, Daniel, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, George Depperschmidt, Ness City; a sister, Mary Pfannenstiel, Ness City; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert; a brother, John Depperschmidt; four sisters, Katherine Munsch, Anna Stoecklein, Margaret Haas and Martina Tittel; a grandchild, Tracy Clouston; and a great-great-grandson, Michael "Mickey" Young.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be until 3 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, from 5 to 7 p.m. today and until time of service Wednesday, both at the church. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School in care of the funeral home.
