A Malaga pioneer who had been a Cashmere resident the past two years, died in Cashmere Nursing home last Wednesday after an extended illness. She was Mrs. Eva G. Buckles, 88, who had lived at Malaga from 1902 until after the death of her husband, Harry Buckles, in 1930. After that she resided in Wenatchee until her move here In 1963.
Funeral arrangements were by Jones Jones, Wenatchee.
