Jonesboro - Funeral services for Worley Cross, 29, who died Thursday following a motorcycle accident, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Miler's Chapel Church in Johnson City. Rev. Edd Davis will officiate, with burial to follow in the Gunnings Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Cross; his mother, Mrs. Janie Cross of Blountville; three sisters, Miss Irma Cross of Blountville, Mrs. Marion Kendrick and Mrs. Shirley Helbert, both of Bristol; three brothers, Owne and Denver Cross, both of Bristol, and Herbert Cross of Delaware; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today and tonight at the home of his mother. The body will be taken to the church from there one hour before the services Blountville Funeral Home is in charge.
