Raymond A. Pfleidner, 71, of rural Avilla died Thursday in Parkview Memorial Hospital.
The Avilla native was a farmer, retired last year as an independent insurance agent for several companies, formerly drove bus for East Noble School Corp. and was recently an escort driver for Mingo Trucking Co. in Auburn. He and other members of the family were the Singing Pfleidner Family, an evangelistic group, and he was song leader for Sugar Grove Church of God for 40 years. His wife, Eva M., died in 1992.
Surviving are 2 daughters, 2 sons, a sister, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
