"Major Lamar Cobb Dead. - Athens, GA., March 11 - Major Lamar Cobb died at his home, Barter Street, at 6:30 o'clock Monday morning. Two years ago, he was stricken with paralysis and had been in feeble health ever since. Saturday afternoon he had an attack of acute indigestion, from which he never rallied. He was a son of General Howell Cobb and a brother to Judge Andrew Cobb, of Atlanta, GA. For several years he was a prominent lawyer of this city and was for years secretary and treasurer of the university of Georgia. Major Cobb was 67 years old and is survived by a wife and two sons and two daughters."
