-Mrs. Karen Anderson, 81 years old, a resident of this vicinity 52 years, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clint Wells, 1714 West Ninth st., at where she had made her home. Her husband died seven years ago. Her husband was one of the early-day blacksmiths at the East Sioux Falls stone quarry. A son and a daughter also preceded her in death. Farmed near Montrose; He left that occupation to buy a farm northwest of Montrose about 30 years ago and the couple lived on the farm until 1915 when they moved to Sioux Falls.
