REIDSVILLE - Jesse Robertson Alcorn, 78, of 822 Cranbrook Road in Raleigh died Thursday at Rex Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. at Greenview Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County, he was a retired employee of Seaboard and Coastline Railroad. He was a World War II Army veteran and a graduate of North Carolina State College (now N.C. State University).
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Martha Luana Fisher of Raleigh; son, Francis M. Alcorn of Lynchburg, Va.; brother, Harold Alcorn of Ruffin; sisters, Mrs. Mary Nolde, Mrs. Willie Wells, Mrs. Nancy Wright, all of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Sadie Moore of Goldsboro; three grandchildren.
