Rick was my ex-husbands roommate, and a wonderful person who had a hard time getting a break in life. He knew he was sick and he'd been sick for quite some time. His last email to me said "Yea guess I shouldn't give you any more bad news but you should know, I went to the Doctor last week and she said I was too far over her head, and refered me to another but haven't seen her yet but current Doctor said I had 6-8 weeks left, my body is shutting down... LOVE PEACE PRAYERS. LOVE YOU ALL ALWAYS, RICK" I received this email just 5 days before he passed away.
