Herkimer, April 26 - mrs. Mary J. Brown, wife of Sylvester Brown, died at her home 307 East German Street, late Sunday night. She had been ill for some time, but confined to bed only since Friday. She had been a resident of this village for the last 33 years.
She was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Cool and was born in Salisbury, May 17, 1849, and lived in that town for many years before coming to Herkimer. She leaves her husband and two sons, Clayton and George Brown of this village. A sister, Mrs. George Harringshaw of Salisbury; also four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from her late home. Interment will be made in Wilcock Cemetery, Little Falls.
