From a contributor: Father was one of first settlers in the Town of Bristol in 1840 therefore must have been born in Canada Contributor: Jay Dee (48281169)

From a contributor: Obituary: At Sun Prairie, on the 29th March, David George Adams, aged 22 years, 2 months and 8 days. During his sickness, which was of short continuance, he manifested a christian hope to the full satisfaction of an extended circle of warm and devoted friends. He was a young gentleman whose loss will be severely felt in the family circle, and among his acquaintances at large. He came into the Territory at the same time with his sister, and father's family, and never failed to exhibit those traits of character which attract the friendship and admiration of society. He was a dutiful and affectionate son, a kind and obliging neighbor and an uncommonly moral young man in all his deportment. He was uniformly attentive to the duties of religion, and left a pleasing evidence of his faith in Jesus Christ.
