Donald M. Coy, 59, of Route 4, Rushville, died Sunday morning at his home.

He was a supervisor at Schnadig Corp. for 16 years, until May 1968. He was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church in Rush County. He also belonged to the Rushville Elks Lodge and the Rushville American Legion. He lived most of his life in Rush County.

Service will be conducted by Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Gary Kirchoff and the Rev. William Sweigart will officiate. An Elks Lodge memorial service will be held at the mortuary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Arlington East Hill Cemetery.

Born in Bartholomew County April 15, 1930, Coy was the son of Aubrey D. and Mildred F. Miller Coy. On Dec. 9, 1972, he married Pauline Evans, and she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Bruce A. Coy; stepsons, Jack and Bill Long, both of Anderson; brothers, Wayne Coy of Columbus and Lloyd Delores Coy of Akron, Ohio; a sister Louise Angle of Rushville; and four grandchildren.
