Jonathon Douglas Amadio, born April 11, 1992, chose to return to his Father in Heaven on Monday, April 14, 2008, at the age of 16.

Jonathon was a sophomore at Copper Hills High School where his infectious grin and generosity of spirit earned him many loyal friends. Jon was always up for an adventure, and spent much of his time out-of-doors either on a snowboard, a skateboard, or a trampoline. When inside, he would usually be found playing his XBOX or practicing his guitar. Music was important to Jon and he was seldom without his iPod. He always had a ready smile and he gave the world's best hugs; his sweet, goofy sense of humor could be counted on to make even the most ordinary occasions ones we will remember with laughter.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Tracy, siblings, Rebekkah (Kyle) Witten, Kaitlyn, Zachary, host sister, Lisa Gebauer, grandparents, John and Retha Amadio, Paul Nies, Larry and Carol Marcum, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Copper Canyon Ward House at 5349 W. 9000 S. A Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday April 18, at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., and 1 hour prior to Services at the Church.
