Eloise Reese Duchesne went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday evening, January 29, 2008. Mrs. Duchesne was a member of Airline Baptist Church where she taught children in Sunday School for 50+ years. Mrs. Duchesne was born March 31, 1922 in Arcadia, LA, to the late George and Emma Reese. She was a strong Christian who lived her faith each day as an example for her family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Family graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Hill Crest Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Airline Baptist Church with Rev. Harrell Shelton officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Allen A. Duchesne. Also preceded in death by her brother, Burgess Reese and sisters, Bertie Weir, Lois Bramlett, Nannie Mae Harris, Melva Alexander, and Margie Edmiston.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Williams and husband, Neil, of Houston, TX; and son, Allen Duchesne and wife, Paula, of Arlington, TX. Grandchildren: Terre McGill and husband, Shawn of Fort Worth, TX; Ted Duchesne and wife, Stephanie, of Houston, TX; Paula Cameron of McKinney, TX; Julie Johnson and husband John of Pasadena, TX; Cody Kirkman and wife, Shelley of Ft. Worth, TX; and Chase and Dane Gilbert of Arlington, TX. She is survived by 9 great grandchildren, Tehya, Savannah, and Sadie McGill, Angela Seastrunk and husband, Seth; Stephanie and Sam James; Addison, William and Caroline Kirkman, and one great-great grandson, Brendan Seastrunk and many nieces, nephews and relatives.
