He was chief of engineering division, directoroate of engineering and housing, Fort Sill, at retirement in 1984. He received many awards and recognitions for his hard work. He was a life member of the Elks Lawton Lodge #1056. He was inducted into the Lawotn-Ft Sill Bowling Assn Hall of Fame in 1992.
