Mrs. Rhoda F Fear, widow of the late Dr J C Fear of Waverly passed away Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs Jessie Kelly in Burlington.
Mrs. Fear fell at the home of her daughter Mrs. Ada Lebow in Salina last May and suffered severe injuries being in a Salina hospital for 11 weeks. She came to the Kelly home in Burlington last November.
Mrs. Fear suffered a heart attack Saturday followed by another Monday. She was 89 years of age.
Her husband was Dr J. C. Fear a prominent physician here He passed away in November 1937 She is survived by the two daughters.
Rhoda Florence Fear was born Feb 2, 1862 at Tallerand, Iowa. She moved with her parents to Kansas during her childhood.
She was united in marriage to Dr Fear Aug 13, 1879. Three daughters were born, Maude who died at the age of 12 years Mrs. T. T. Kelly and Mrs C. F. Lebow five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
