Mrs. Nannie (Cline) Brammer, wife of James Brammer, departed this life Tuesday, December 26th, 1922, at 1 A.M., after a short illness of heart failure. She had been in ill health for some time, but her death was very much unexpected by the family.

She was the mother of eleven children, ten of which are living, the youngest of which is ten years old. Mrs. Mayme Newell of Grahn, James Brammer of Halderman, Mrs. Stella Callihan, Mrs. Ora Callihan,
Donald Brammer, Russell Brammer, Raymond Brammer, and Miss Thelma Brammer, all of this city, the latter three being at home.

She has been a devout mother, helper, and mate. She was a woman who believed in the house being cared for and her religious faith had been for some time been in the International Holiness Church where she displayed to the world that her walk was such that no one could dispute that she was a child of God. She had completed her mission on earth, and God saw fit to call her home to her reward and it came to the time where she was to go in His way. She left that comforting testimony that she was going to her reward and that God had called her.

The funeral services were conducted at the residence on Clark Hill, Wednesday afternoon, they were conducted by Rev. Lucas, Pastor of the church where she was member, after which her remains were carried away to the beautiful Jr. OUAM Cemetery in the East End of our city, where they were laid to rest amid a large crowd of relatives and friends, to sleep the sleep of the silent.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton.
