Jennie Bell Bloomer, fourth child of Joseph B. and Isabel (Baker) Bloomer, was born April 11, 1860 at Kokomo. Howard County, Ind.
She married James Milton Allen August 25, 1878, in Smith County, Kansas by Rev. William Richard Allen.
They had 14 children.
Jennie and James farmed for several years and taught at the " Allen " school south of Lebanon.
Jennie died of chronic myocardities and chronic interstitial nephritis.
