Emmett Buckley, 839 West 8th Street a retired cup handler at the Taylor Smith & Taylor Company died Sunday at 6:20 p.m. ay his home after a long illness. He was 73.
He was born in East Liverpool. He was a member of Local 10, International Brotherhood of Operative Potters. He retired as a potter 15 years ago.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Clara Buckley, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jones of East Liverpool, and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Lyons of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Alice Adams, also of East Liverpool, and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. James Gardner of the Orchard Grove Community Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and night.
