She is preceded in death by her mother Julie Anne Olive. She is survived by her father Joseph E. Olive of Houston, TX and brother Rev. Rodney J. Olive C. Ss. R. of Redemptorist Missionaries. She attended elementary and high school in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and University of Virgin Islands where she got a B.A in Education. She taught in elementary schools in the Virgin Islands for 8 to 10 years and in Dallas for 2 to 3 years. She was a Cloistered Nun with the Dominican Nuns at the Monastery of the Infant Jesus in Lufkin, Texas from 1983-1992. She taught for 13 years at St. Christopher's Catholic School in Houston, TX. She leaves behind many grieving co-workers, students, family and friends.
