Mrs. Archer, 98, of Mineral Wells, Dies at Her Home
Mrs. Nancy Jane Archer, 98, a resident of Mineral Wells, W. Va., died at 1 p.m. yesterday at her home. Mrs. Archer, a member of the Phelps Memorial church and the Gold Star Mothers organization, was born in Noble county, Ohio, but lived the greater part of her life in the Mineral Wells district.
She is survived by one son, Ira F. Archer, Louisville, Ky.; five daughters, Mrs. A. R. Province, Mineral Wells, Mrs. Mary M. Dowler, Belpre, O., Mrs. Ada D. Swisher, Newark, O., and Mrs. O. C. DeVaughn and Mrs. Edna Locke, both of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Archer will be conducted at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt funeral home with interment following in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
