A daughter of Stephen & Catherine B. "Katie" (Warner) Spidle. She was united in marriage with Lester G. Groff who died March 1972.
She was survived by a son and six daughters, Jay Robert Groff of Marietta, PA; Catherine Ferguson of East Liverpool, Ohio; Alice Fraser of Wellsville, Ohio; Dorothy McCue of Columbia, PA; and Ethel Weidman, Doris Rickett and Miss Mary Groff, all of Lancaster, PA; a sister, Alice Detwiler of Carlisle; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was made in the Eberle Cemetery in Mt. Joy, PA.
