Osojnicki - S/Sgt. Mike Osojnicki, age 29, 614 E 151st St., East Chicago was killed in action May 21 1945 in Battle of Luzon. Funeral services, Friday, October 22, 9:30 am from the residence 10 am Holy Trinity Croation Catholic Church with Rev Paul Bogovich officiating. Burial St Johns Cemetery, Hammond. Surviving, mother and father, Mr and Mrs Matt Osojnicki; two brothers; Matt jr Thomas, 1 stepbrother, Mike Belovich, 4 sisters, Mrs Frank Rakoczy, Anne, Frances, Rose, all of East Chicago. Body will lie in state at Huber Funeral Home, 905 Chicago Ave., Tuesday evening body will be taken home Wednesday Pulaski Post #78 will conduct services.
